QR is short for Quick Response (QR codes can be read quickly by a cell phone). QR codes are used to take a piece of information from a transitory media and put it on your cell phone. You can see QR Codes in magazine advertisements, on  billboards,  web pages or even on someone’s t-shirt. Once it is on your cell phone, it may give you details about the business or property(allowing users to search for nearby locations).
